The presentation of A.Niemeyer at the digital edition of São Paulo Fashion Week n50, celebrating the event’s 25th anniversary, represents an inward gaze. Titled “Origem”, the collection revisits what is most essential since the brand’s foundation: timelessness, here expressed through a palette of neutral colors, natural textures, and basic, comfortable silhouettes. In the presentation film, archival pieces are mixed with current designs and future releases.

We were invited to develop the soundtrack, which is divided into four parts. The introduction features a gentle electric piano base over which delicate sounds of digitally programmed metallic drums echo, filled by an atmosphere that sits between the natural and the unknown. In the second part, the electric piano takes on a rhythmic ascending and descending line, bringing forward a recognizable musical pattern that gains prominence and is sustained by continuous synthesizer sounds in slow chord progressions. After a brief pause, we move into the third part, built around two alternating electric piano chords that function as a bridge anticipating the final section of the music. Finally, the last part enters to add body and reinforce the electric piano chords, where a bass line and synthesizer harmonies define the conclusion of the piece until the instruments fade out and what remains is the ambience accompanying the film’s end credits.
